NEW Finless Workshop and Re-Evolution News

by Mike

Normally by this time of year, we’d be working hard to put together all the final details of Surf Re-Evolution. Sadly, with everything that's been on our plates and not enough time to do it right, we’ve decided to take a year off from the event and finish getting settled into our new digs.

But as we begin to see the signs of fall, we can’t bear the thought of not getting together with you - so in what we’re casually referring to as “Re-Evolution Light” - we’d love to gather all of our friends, shapers, surfers, home builders, paipo enthusiasts and body surfers for a beach demo and party. Mark down Saturday September 16th, and meet us at 12 noon at Long Sands in York for an afternoon of surfing and swapping stories. We’ll bring our quiver of demo boards (including our new Ryan Lovelace collab model), and we encourage all of you to bring your boards to share.

September 16th also happens to be International Coastal Cleanup Day. We’re glad to be teaming up with Surfrider for a beach cleanup of Long Sands, so in between your waves, let’s do our part to keep the beaches and oceans clean. More info here.

Then at 5pm our friend Joe has invited us to have an after party at Stones Throw right on the beach with food, drinks and some music. Hope you can make it. It just wouldn’t be right if we didn’t’ see you.

To help guarantee that we’ll have waves, we’ve invited Jon Wegener- our fall swell good luck charm- back to teach a 2-day finless (alaia or paipo) class on Thursday Sept 14 and Friday Sept 15th. This class is a great time and Jon is a one-of-a-kind teacher. Sign up soon, this class is always a blast and it fills up fast. More info and details here.
