A Mini Sneaky Surf Trip

A Mini Sneaky Surf Trip

As far as waves go, it's been a pretty feeble summer and fall here on the East Coast. But in keeping with tradition, we lucked out and had a couple days of fun waves just after Surf Re-Evolution back in September. Jon Wegener was here to teach an alaia and paipo class which is always a blast. Afterwards, Jon stuck around for a few days and he and Nolan snuck off to find some hidden Maine gems. Who knew they'd be followed by a couple of the top surf photogs in the business. Here's a little bit of what they found. Since then, life continues to buzz around the shop and out west with our new mobile classroom. Over the course of October and November, just about every one of us from Maine has headed west to help with our west coast tour in some way. So keep an eye out for us on the road. We'll be the ones dominating the slow lane in a school bus turned custom mobile-classroom. But more on that soon... Check here for a few more photos from Jon's trip. Thank you for the photos Nick LaVecchia and Shawn Parkin. Maybe a repeat adventure next year?
