A $400 deposit is all you need to get us started on a new Grain board built right here in Maine - you don’t pay the balance until your board is ready to ship. Board prices do not include shipping which varies depending on destination and board size. Start the ordering process for your new Grain Surfboard by reading our BOARD DEPOSIT PAGE and selecting the board you want. We’ll be in touch with you shortly to discuss your preferences of wood types, color, grain patterns and more. We can even burn your name or a custom message into the wood prior to glassing.

Once we’ve begun construction, we’ll send photos of the building process along the way and stay in touch via email or phone. Get more information from our FAQ’s.

If you don’t see the board you want in our core line, give a call to discuss a custom design. We love to develop new shapes and to include your thoughts in the design process. To do that, we send you computer model images of the design as it develops from your comments. Grain Home Grown kits are made to order and can be picked up in Maine or shipped almost anywhere. You can easily order a Home Grown Surfboard Kit from the
GRAIN SURFBOARDS ONLINE STORE. In most cases, delivery takes a couple of weeks and we use flat-rate shipping to contiguous U.S. destinations so there are no surprises. International customers may want to get shipping quotes prior to ordering. For those in a hurry, kits are available at some local surf shops. Get more information from our FAQ’s.
