The First Fish

We just finished up a great week here at the shop. Dave Y. from Washington D.C. was the first to take advantage of our new fish classes.

We actually fit Dave in between a couple other of our regularly scheduled classes as it was the only time he could come up (more on these custom one-on-one classes soon).

Dave spent a week camping alongside the shop at night, and cranking out his 6′0″ Wherry during the day. Ten days in all, he definitely set the Grain School record for fastest board, from rough material to a glassed and ready-to-surf board. Nice work Dave, now maybe we can all get some sleep.
