Hand-cut from our cedar wood scraps, each certificate is branded with the Grain Logo and has custom artwork hand burned into the wood by resident artist and builder Randy Gaetano. The package also includes a gift card with a photo and an explanation of how and where to redeem them.

Gift Certificates are now available in $50, $100, $250 and $500 denominations and can be used for any of our products from wax to tools, Home Grown Surfboard Kits to custom-built wooden surfboards.

For a limited time, gift certificates recipients will get an additional 5% off if applied to the purchase of a custom built board or a Home Grown Kit. This discount is only good until March 1, 2008. Certificates are good for one year from date of purchase and can be redeemed through our online store or placing an order with us on the phone.

Grain was born from the notion that surfboards could be built by human hands using only natural materials. From the beginning, we were committed to the heightened experience of building and surfing your own board. Knowing first-hand the challenges of making it happen, we set out to make the experience more enjoyable for anyone interested in taking on the challenge. Our Home Grown Kits are result of that effort and plenty of surfers are now riding wooden boards built in their own garage from sustainable wood products.

The world is changing around us, and we have a chance to make it for the better. It’s time to open our minds to new ideas and concepts, to step away from the mass produced, chemical dependent toys that are holding us back.
