Swell filled weekend

Although the Grain shop was closed this past weekend, it was still a busy one for Grain Surfboards and it’s employees. The Maine Boat Builder’s show was happening all weekend in Portland, where Grain had a booth. There also happened to be a sizeable Nor’easter brewing off the coast. By Saturday morning the swell was filling in and the winds were starting to cooperate. While half the Grain crew was in Portland, the other(luckier) half was on the coast, taking full advantage.

It pays to wake with the sun.

Stoked to be back in New England, here’s Randy ensuring that his 5′10 Waka stays dry for the next 6 hours of surf time.
